Data Deletion Instructions

OCCULTA Marketing Intelligence ("OCCULTA") processes marketing data on behalf of business clients. If you wish to request deletion of personal data associated with you, follow the steps below.
If you are an authorised user of a Tenant
Contact your Tenant administrator. They control your account within the Service and can revoke your access and trigger deletion.
If you are a Tenant or otherwise unable to use the in-app flow
Send an email to support@occulta.co with:
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your account
- The Tenant name (if applicable)
We will:
- Acknowledge within 5 business days
- Verify your identity
- Delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records, audit logs subject to legal hold)
- Confirm completion in writing
Data we delete
- Account and authentication records
- Audit log entries identifying you
- Cached AI responses linked to your queries
Data we may retain
- Aggregated, non-identifying marketing metrics (these contain no personal data)
- Records required by Portuguese fiscal law (10 years)
- Records under active legal hold
Meta Platform users
If you wish to remove OCCULTA's access to your Meta data and trigger deletion:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, or Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites, or Meta Business Manager → Business Settings → Integrations
- Remove "OCCULTA Marketing Intelligence" from the list of connected apps or partners
- Tokens are revoked automatically by Meta at this point
- OCCULTA purges associated data within 90 days of token revocation
You may additionally email support@occulta.co to request immediate deletion rather than waiting for the 90-day cycle.
